Resident Evil 2 Remake's biggest strength is its level design. Every area of the game is intricately designed and sometimes it can be quite tiresome where to go and where to find the key items needed to unlock a specific door. This is the reason we decided to compile the location of all the keys you find in the game to make things a little easier for you.
For starters, Resident Evil 2 Remake has 4 different keys in the shape of Spade, Diamond, Heart and Club. The ones you will find in your playthrough depends on whether you playing as the Rookie cop Leon Kennedy or the College student Claire Redfield.
# Leon
Playing as Leon will give you access to only three of these keys which are-
Spade, Diamond and Club.
Finding the Spade Key
It's the first key you will get your hands on and can be found in the West Storage room which is on the third floor. The key can be found on the desk next to a statue.
Finding the Diamond Key
Diamond Key is the second key you will run into in Leon's campaign and is fairly important.
It can be found in the morgue beneath the police station. This area can only be unlocked after you have solved the 3 statue puzzles.
The key can be pulled off from one of the corpses lying in the room.
Finding the Club Key
Club Key can be found in the boiler room on the first floor, outside the area where the helicopter crashed.
It might be easy to miss out on this one as it is taped on a whiteboard in the room.

#Claire
The keys that can be found in Claire's playthrough are- Spade, Diamond and Heart.
The location of Spade and Diamond key remains the same as that of Leon's.
The Heart Key, however, can be found in the Chief's room just near the parking lot.
