HoYoverse has announced that Genshin Impact 4.7 will release three new playable characters, including Sethos. He is a new character who will make his first in-game appearance in version 4.6, as confirmed during the recent 4.6 livestream. The latest drip marketing has also revealed a few things about the mysterious young man from Sumeru.

HoYoverse has confirmed that Sethos will be available as a playable unit in version 4.7 alongside Clorinde and Sigewinne. Depending on the phase, he will be available on one of the following dates:
- Phase I: June 5, 2024
- Phase II: June 25, 2024
Note that the above dates are merely based on the game's current update schedule and assuming there will be no patch delays or extensions.
