Stalker 2 walkthrough: How to complete Dangerous Visitors side mission

The Dangerous Visitors is a side mission in Stalker 2 that becomes available early in the game. After completing the first mission, There and Back Again, you are knocked unconscious, and your scanner is stolen. Upon regaining consciousness, you can explore the world, tackle side quests, and progress through the main storyline. As you advance to the second mission, Behind Seven Seals, the Dangerous Visitors side mission unlocks.

While the mission is straightforward, certain challenges can be difficult to overcome. This guide provides detailed steps to help you save time and effort, making it easier to complete the Dangerous Visitors mission in Stalker 2.

Stalker 2 "Dangerous Visitors" side mission walkthrough

To start the Dangerous Visitors mission, open your map and locate the Post Office in the Lesser Zone region. The exact location is marked in the embedded image.

Upon reaching the area, you will encounter three enemies shooting at the house. Eliminate them and enter the building. In the first room, you’ll find a person named Zhorik. Interact with him, and he’ll request your help to assist someone he knows, named Gloomy. Agreeing to help him will trigger the Dangerous Visitors mission.

Mission Objectives

The mission has two objectives:

1. Primary Objective: Help Gloomy, the person Zhorik mentioned.
2. Optional Objective: Find Zhorik’s stash, which contains helpful items like medicine, ammo, a weapon, and food.

The stash is along the path to Gloomy’s location, so it’s recommended to complete this for the valuable supplies. To find it, head northeast toward the blue exclamation mark on your map. While following the road, look for a downed helicopter on the left side.

Approach the helicopter, but beware of the radioactive water. Jump across it, and inside the helicopter, you’ll find a blue box on the right containing the stash. Loot the items and proceed to the main objective.

Main Objective: Rescue Gloomy

Continue northeast, and on your way, you may find some feral dogs attacking you, so eliminate them and proceed along the road until you reach the Boiler House, identifiable by its large chimney. Be cautious, as enemies may attack you as soon as they see you approaching. Use the boundary walls for cover and eliminate the enemies outside.

Typically, three enemies guard the building exterior. Watch out for grenades. Once they are dealt with, carefully move inside. You’ll find two more enemies: one on the ground floor and another on the first floor. Eliminate them both.

Rescue Gloomy:

Head to the first floor, where you’ll find Gloomy. Approach him and interact to trigger a brief conversation. He will offer you a reward: an Echo Detector. You can choose to accept it or ask for an alternative reward of 850 coupons, the in-game currency. Once you make your choice, the Dangerous Visitors mission will be completed.
