Players must have progressed into the game a little bit to aim for a 3-star rating for their island. For instance, besides having at least seven residents, their island has to be completely neat and clean, and players must have removed all kinds of weeds from their island. Furthermore, players must have also planted at least 100 plants and approximately 200 flowers on their island to achieve the 3-star rating.

1. Plant lots of flowers and trees all over your island, but make sure the island does not look cluttered.
