Formula One team Caterham are yet to confirm a seat for current drivers Giedo van der Garde and Charles Pic for the 2014 season as veteran Heikki Kovalainen has been dragged back on the radar for a potential return.

Both Van der Garde and Charles Pic is heavily sponsored but has struggled at times in their first season with the team, leaving the door open for a potential change in the lineup.

Pic is the favorite to be retained but his manager Olivier Panis said that nothing has been confirmed yet.

“You are never 100 per cent sure. In any case, stability is important for Charles, but we have been approached by other teams. I think that decisions will take longer than last year, so it will not be until the end of the season that we know about Charles in F1 next year,” said Panis.

Meanwhile, Van der Garde’s manager Jan Paul ten Hoopen told that the driver has been attracting interest from various teams.

“We have spoken with four teams who have serious interest in Giedo. I think everyone has seen his development but the musical chairs in F1 is like playing in a casino,” Hoopen said.
