Kimi Raikkonen has been linked to Red Bull Racing for quite some time now.
However, Red Bull’s effort to find a replacement for Mark Webber got a new twist when Fernando Alonso’s manager Luis Garcia Abad was seen meeting with Red Bull team principal Christian Horner, thereby linking the Spaniard to Red Bull.
However, world champion Sebastian Vettel of Red Bull has said that he would prefer Kimi Raikkonen as his partner over Fernando Alonso.
“I’d prefer Kimi. I need to be careful now, but nothing against Fernando. I really respect him a lot as a driver. But I respect Kimi on track, off track, because he has always been very straight with me. From that point of view it would be a bit easier,” Vettel told BBC.
