Former F1 world champion Damon Hill has touted Max Verstappen as one of the greatest drivers of all time. The Red Bull driver has taken dominance to a different level, as he hardly has any off days. Not only that, the driver does not make mistakes at crucial moments and has developed a style of racing where he extracts the best possible result every weekend.

It is this quality that has seen him break record after record since 2021. Just last season, Verstappen won 19 races and had a record 10-race winning streak as well. The driver continues to perform relentlessly at a very high level.

Last weekend in the F1 Chinese GP, Max Verstappen was once again in a different league compared to everyone else and won both the sprint and the main race. Talking about the driver's prowess and achievements, Damon Hill said the Dutchman could now be clubbed with some of the best drivers ever in F1. On Sky Sports, Hill said:

"We don't know how much more Verstappen has got in hand. Clearly Checo is not as quick and he's a good driver. Verstappen is amazing. People are already talking about him as being established as one of great F1 drivers of all-time. I can't argue with that."

He added:

"He's got the equipment, yes. But he's got the equipment because he was so blindingly obviously quick and aggressive and competitive. Also mentally, he's on top of everything, he knows what's going on and doesn't need much help but has a great team behind him. He's almost indestructible at the moment."

Karun Chandhok interested in seeing Max Verstappen in another car

Former F1 driver Karun Chandhok expressed interest in seeing Max Verstappen in another car. The driver talked about how Verstappen is in harmony with his current car and how it would be interesting to see him trying a completely different challenge where everything does not work perfectly. On the Sky Sports post-race show, he said:

"I would like to see him drive for someone else! He's at one with that car. It would be fun to see. How much is it Max versus this car?"

Talking about other teams, Toto Wolff has been keen on trying to lure Max Verstappen to Mercedes. The Austrian is openly courting the Dutch driver, and it would be interesting to see if Verstappen entertains the offer at some stage in his career.
