F1 fans said they missed Daniel Ricciardo as the eight-time Grand Prix winner shared a glimpse into his visit to the Supercross De Paris. The former RB driver, who was ousted from his F1 seat in September this year, visited Paris this week and photos featuring him at the Supercross event were shared on social media.
The Supercross de Paris took place in Paris, France, last weekend. The 41st edition of the event saw the SX1 category being won by Cooper Webb of Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing in the SX1 category. Webb claimed victory over Malcolm Stewart of Husqvarna and Jett Lawrence of Honda HRC. Tom Vialle of Red Bull KTM secured the SX2 title.
Ricciardo was in Paris for the event as his clothing brand, Enchante, collaborated with Alpinestars. During his visit, the former Red Bull driver clicked a photo with participant Hunter Lawrence. The photo was shared on the Alpinestars Instagram account. The caption read:
"The city of love. Our favorite bromance is back with a fun collaboration here in Paris with @enchante! Keep an eye out for the clothing collection releasing this week on @enchante.co"

During his time as an F1 driver, Daniel Ricciardo was a firm fan favorite. The Australian driver was one of the most popular drivers on the grid, and Netflix's F1 docu-series "Drive to Survive" increased his popularity manifold.
Following the 2024 Singapore Grand Prix, Ricciardo lost his F1 seat as he failed to impress the Red Bull bosses. The Christian Horner and Helmut Marko-led team brought in Liam Lawson as Ricciardo's replacement at RB.
When Red Bull boss said Daniel Ricciardo was the "best driver" in his first season at Red Bull

Red Bull team principal, Christian Horner, opined that Daniel Ricciardo was "the best driver on the grid" in his first season with the team in 2014. Speaking at the end of September on the "F1 Nation" podcast, Horner was asked to name Ricciardo's best races. He replied,
"He drove some brilliant races for us. I’m not going to name one, I’m going to name a couple. I think that some of the races if you look at Hungary 2014… Our biggest concern when he came to drive for us was that we knew he was quick, but [we’d] never seen him overtake anybody, so we didn’t know how good a racer he was.
"As soon as he got in our car, he just never stopped overtaking people! He was so late on the brakes. If you look at that race from 2014 in Hungary, if you look at his first victory in Montreal, the race he won in China in 2018 I think it was. He was outstanding in that and when his confidence was sky-high. For me, in 2014 he was the best driver on the grid - that was his high point."
Daniel Ricciardo made his F1 debut in 2011 with HRT. He moved to Toro Rosso, Red Bull's sister team, the very next year. Ricciardo joined Red Bull in 2014, replacing Mark Webber.
