Lewis Hamilton shares his struggles with Mercedes W15 during the 2024 F1 Chinese GP

Lewis Hamilton recently explained that his struggle to drive the Mercedes W15 at the 2024 F1 Chinese GP was due to the wrong setup.

Speaking to media including Sportskeeda, Hamilton stated that the W15 had a lot of understeer during the race, so much so that he thought the on-track debris damaged the car in some way.

“I thought maybe at the beginning I tapped someone because I mean I've never had so much understeer in my life. So I was turning on the low speed and just waiting waiting waiting waiting and so I thought maybe that I damaged something like some of the others. Because it was debris going everywhere at one point, but it was just set up that I chose,” Hamilton said.

Hamilton finished ninth in the Chinese GP and scored only two points. He is currently ninth in the drivers' championship table with a total of 19 points.
