F1 fans were left raging after Red Bull driver Max Verstappen's partner, Kelly Piquet, posted a picture of their newborn daughter, Lily, on social media. The Dutch driver has been together with the Brazilian model for over four years after they were first reported to be dating in late 2020.
The 36-year-old model and influencer is the daughter of former three-time F1 world champion Nelson Piquet Sr., who raced predominantly in the 80s and early 90s in the sport. She also shared a five-year-old daughter with the former Toro Rosso and Red Bull driver Daniil Kvyat.
On her recent post on Instagram, Kelly Piquet posted a series of pictures of her two daughters, tagging the Le France brand for helping in providing the experience behind the photoshoot, saying:
"Mom of two angels 🥹🙏🏻✨💕From the very beginning, I dreamed of a moment when the two were side by side — one coming into the world, the other lovingly welcoming. @le_infance translated this dream into fabric: Lily's delicate embellishment and big sister's dress, made to meet in a hug."
F1 fans gave their reactions to Max Verstappen's girlfriend's post on X, with one fan expressing their anger over the paid content, saying:
"Literally all posts about lily have been ads"
“It’s an opportunity…to sell” - Max Verstappen,"
Here are some more reactions:
"It’s getting strange, I fear," wrote a fan.
"This is like sad actually," said a fan.
"Doubt Max cares tbh he probably thinks it’s the norm, he’s surrounded by influencers. His sisters literally a mummy blogger and has had all her kid signed up to a modelling agency since they were one," claimed another.
"She will probably think it’s normal but it’s so odd," mentioned another.
Max Verstappen and Kelly Piquet became parents to their daughter, Lily, in early May and announced the birth of their child on social media.
