Red Bull driver Max Verstappen's girlfriend, Kelly Piquet, wore fashionable attire in her latest public appearance after giving birth to their first child in early May. The Dutchman has been in a relationship with the Brazilian model since late 2020, and the duo is arguably the most famous F1 couple in the paddock.

With Piquet by her side, Verstappen has won the drivers' championship for four successive years from 2021 to 2024 and is currently gunning for a fifth title. The Brazilian, the daughter of former three-time F1 world champion Nelson Piquet Sr., was a regular in the paddock before the start of the 2025 season but has been away from the sport during her pregnancy.

After giving birth to her second daughter, first with Max Verstappen, named Lily, Kelly Piquet made a public appearance recently as she gave an interview to Portuguese broadcaster TVI.

Piquet shares several snippets from the interview on her Instagram Story, as she rocked the event wearing a striking black pantsuit.

"I breathe motorsport. It's something that comes naturally to me. And in the end, I've started a family with an F1 driver. Well, not married yet, but we've started a family."

The 36-year-old resides in Monaco in Max Verstappen's apartment with her five-year-old daughter Penelope, whom she shares with Daniil Kvyat.

When Max Verstappen chimed in on marriage plans with Kelly Piquet

Red Bull driver Max Verstappen previously stated that he would probably get married to his girlfriend Kelly Piquet in the near future, but did not have any immediate plans.

Speaking with Blick in December last year, the 27-year-old said:

"Not yet, but it will probably happen soon."

Despite not getting married, the Dutchman was focused on his racing career and being a father to her newborn daughter. He said in the post-quali press conference in Miami last month that his racing won't be affected by the new change in his life, saying:

"Clearly, it didn't make me slower being a dad, so that's a positive. So we can throw that out of the window as well, for people mentioning it. I don't really listen to these kind of silly things, I just do my thing. I think there are enough racing drivers in the past who have been world champions even after having kids. Honestly, I don't know where this has even come from."

The four-time F1 world champion has continued to excel on the track, as evidenced by his performances in the 2025 season, and has continued to manage his other commitments as well despite being a new father.
