New Jersey, Mexico and South Korea have been scrapped from the Formula One calendar for 2014. The decision was taken during the International Automobile Federation’s Annual General Meeting.

Initially, the Formula One body had decided to increase the number of races in 2014 to 22. With this announcement, the number is back to 19, the same amount of races as 2013.

Earlier this year, a decision was taken that the Indian Grand Prix would no longer be held.

The season is set to began in Melbourne, Australia as usual with the finale set to be held in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

July 20: Germany (Hockenheim)

July 27: Hungary (Budapest)

August 24: Belgium (Spa-Francorchamps)

September 7: Italy (Monza)

September 21: Singapour (Marina Bay)

October 5: Japan (Suzuka)

October 12: Russia (Sochi)

November 2: United States (Austin)

November 9: Brazil (Interlagos, Sao Paulo)

November 23: Abu Dhabi (Yas Marina)
