Playing XI Updates

Dhaka Dynamites:

Dhaka should play with the same side that served them well on Monday with Upul Tharanga playing the perfect hand along with Sunil Narine.

Qazi Onik has also been impressive, although he did take a beating in the final over from Mosaddek Hossain. The onus is on their West Indian duo of Kieron Pollard and Andre Russell to propel them over the finishing line and take them to the final.

Possible XI: Tharanga, Narine, Rony, Shakib(C), Pollard, Nurul (WK), Russell, Hom, Rubel, Mahmudul and Onik.

Rangpur Riders:

Without AB de Villiers and Alex Hales in their side, Rangpur struggled in the first half of their innings, although Benny Howell did propel them to a competitive score in the end.

Shafiul Islam's return gives Rangpur strength in the bowling department with Farhad Reza and Mashrafe Mortaza in fine form.

Fantasy Tips and Suggestions

Wicket-keeper: Mohammad Mithun is the obvious choice with his recent form also a good reason for his selection. Nurul Hasan has been amongst the runs over the past few games but the unpredictability of his batting position should put off his selection.

Batsmen: Chris Gayle, Rony Talukdar and Upul Tharanga are the ideal set of players to have in your side. Tharanga started off on the wrong note against Comilla but came up with two promising performances against Khulna and Chittagong. Rilee Rossouw could also be opted for instead of Chris Gayle.

All-rounders: Two out of the Dhaka trio of Andre Russell, Shakib Al Hasan and Sunil Narine should suffice with Shakib and Sunil amongst the very few to score in excess of 200 and pick more than 15 wickets. Ravi Bopara is also a handy option to go along with.

Bowlers: Mashrafe Mortaza and Rubel Hossain are must haves in the fantasy team. Either of Farhad Reza or Shafiul Islam would do with both of them doing well for Rangpur throughout the tournament. Shuvagata Hom's all-round abilities should earn him a spot.

Captain: Shakib Al Hasan and Chris Gayle are the ideal options to go for as captain. Gayle has struck some form over the last two games and is due for a big one on Wednesday. Perhaps a century?
