With only a handful of games remaining, the 44th game of BBL 2018-19 see table toppers Hobart Hurricanes face the Brisbane Heat, who are virtually out of the tournament after a disheartening loss to the Melbourne Stars on Sunday.

While the Heat have been heavily dependent on the 'Bash Brothers' this season, the Hurricanes have their very own version of the moniker with D'Arcy Short and Matthew Wade in ominous form for the 2017-18 BBL finalists.

With the Blundestone Arena set to host the match, one can expect a very competitive game with both teams trying to get one over the other on Tuesday.

Hobart Hurricanes:

Johan Botha announced his retirement just after their thumping nine-wicket loss to the Sydney Sixers, leaving one spot vacant within the side.

Jarrod Freeman, an eighteen-year-old all-rounder has been drafted into the side and should ideally make his BBL debut against the Heat. Apart from the one change, Hobart shoud field the same side that has played the last three games with Caleb Jewell batting at number three.

Possible XI: Short, Wade(C&WK), Jewell, McDermott, Bailey, Milenko, Faulkner, Freeman, Archer, Rose and Meredith.

Brisbane Heat:

After restricting the Stars to a below-par score, they should have easily chased it down with the fire-power they have in their possession. But it wasn't to be as their middle order couldn't capitalize in the last few overs, losing a heap of wickets towards the end to let go of a match that they seemingly had in their bag.

No changes are expected with Matt Renshaw and Jimmy Peirson among the runs last time around while Alex Ross could got out and could swapped by either Jack Prestwidge or Sam Heazlett

Possible XI: Lynn(C), Bryant, McCullum, Renshaw, Peirson(WK), Ross/Prestwidge, Cutting, Lalor, Swepson, Doggett and Mujeeb.

Fantasy Tips and Suggestions:

Wicket-keeper: Matthew Wade is the highest scoring wicket-keeper in the BBL so far and has 387 runs to his name - second only to his team-mate D'Arcy Short. He is the ideal candidate for this slot over Heat keeper, Jimmy Peirson.

Batsmen: Chris Lynn, Ben McDermott, Max Bryant and George Bailey are the ideal set of batsmen to have in your fantasy sides with all of them amongst the runs this season.

Max Bryant has been getting the Heat to quick starts regularly this season but hasn't been able to capitalize on them. D'Arcy Short is a very handy option as well with his leg-spin also being called upon regularly.

All-rounders: James Faulkner and Ben Cutting have contributed regularly with both bat and ball and should be preferred. With Johan Botha also not available this time around, the aforementioned duo are the only options available with Simon Milenko not being called upon often.

Bowlers: Jofra Archer and Riley Meredith have combined well this season, with the latter being regarded as the breakout star of this year's edition of BBL. Along with them, Mujeeb and Lalor are also very useful picks to have in the side.

Captain: Chris Lynn has surprisingly been quiet over the past few matches and will be waiting to tee off on the opposition bowlers.

With the big Queenslander preferring pace on the ball, the Blundestone Arena could witness another bout of "Lynnsanity". Other options also include D'Arcy Short and Max Bryant.
