Ind Women vs Eng Women, 1st T20: Dream11 Prediction, Playing XI Updates & Fantasy Cricket Tips - March 4th, 2019
After a fairly entertaining ODI series coming to a nerve-wracking conclusion, the action now moves to the shortest format as India take on ICC Women's T20 World Cup 2018 runners-up, England in the first of three T20 Internationals set to be held in Guhawati.
Both teams come into the series with a few injury concerns with Harmanpreet Kaur and Sophie Ecclestone ruled out. This paves the way for new talent to stake a claim in the playing XI as both India and England look to build towards the next T20 World Cup to be held in Australia and New Zealand. With no dearth in star value on either side, here are a few tips to help you pick your Dream11 team.
Squads to choose from
Smriti Mandhana (C), Mithali Raj, Jemimah Rodrigues, Deepti Sharma, Harleen Deol, Veda Krishnamurthy, Anuja Patil, Shikha Pandey, Taniya Bhatia, Ekta Bisht, Radha Yadav, Poonam Yadav, Arundhati Reddy, Bharati Fulmali, Komal Zanzad
Heather Knight (C), Danielle Wyatt, Natalie Sciver, Laura Marsh, Katherine Brunt, Tammy Beaumont, Amy Ellen Jones, Lauren Winfield, Sophie Dunkley, Georgia Elwiss, Anya Shrubsole, Alex Hartley, Kate Cross, Linsey Smith, Freya Davies
Playing XI Updates
Mithali Raj is set to play in the top order with Harmanpreet Kaur out injured. With Priya Punia failing at the top of the order in New Zealand, India might revert back to Jemimah Rodrigues, who has been in good form, to complement Smriti Mandhana. Veda Krishnamurthy makes a comeback to national side while Arundhati Reddy and Radha Yadav should feature for the Indians on Monday.
Possible XI: Mandhana(C), Raj, Jemimah, Deepti, Veda, Taniya(WK), Anuja, Arundhati, Radha, Poonam and Ekta
England should field a similar side to that featured in the third ODI with Sarah Taylor being replaced by Dunkley. The bowling should remain the same with Brunt and Elwiss in prime form while much is expected from Alex Hartley and her left-arm spin. Dani Wyatt should return to her preferred opening spot with Amy Ellen Jones and Knight in the top order. The presence of Sciver and Winfield adds much-needed balance to a side looking for nothing but a win.
Possible XI: Beaumont, Wyatt(WK), Knight(C), Jones, Sciver, Winfield, Dunkley, Brunt, Elwiss, Hartley/Smith and Shrubsole.

Fantasy Tips and Suggestions
Wicket-keeper: Inspite of her lack of form, Amy Ellen Jones is the ideal selection with her counterpart, Bhatia batting too deep down the order. Jones is quite good in the powerplay and with her wide array of shots, she could be a worthwhile selection.
Batters: Dani Wyatt scored a brilliant rearguard fifty to guide England to a much-needed win in the third ODI. She also has a hundred to her name in India and is the ideal candidate in the fantasy side. Along with Wyatt, Mandhana and Jemimah are must-haves in the side with their good form. Mithali Raj, Heather Knight, and Tammy Beaumont are also among the available options and are all viable options to have in the side.
All-rounders: Natalie Sciver was the lone warrior in the first two ODIs with good performances with both bat and ball. She is a great player to have in the fantasy side while one of Brunt and Elwiss should also make the cut alongside Deepti Sharma.
Bowling: Poonam Yadav and Radha Yadav are sure to pick a wicket or two in Indian conditions while one of Anya Shrubsole or Linsey Smith should suffice in rounding off a good team.
Captain: Jemimah Rodrigues and Natalie Sciver are the front-runners for captaincy with both of them in good form as well. While Smriti Mandhana too is in good form, she is due for a failure although she isn't a bad option to have as captain.
Fantasy Suggestion #1: Amy Jones(WK), Dani Wyatt, Heather Knight, Jemimah Rodrigues, Smriti Mandhana, Natalie Sciver, Katherine Brunt, Deepti Sharma, Poonam Yadav, Radha Yadav and Linsey Smith. Captain: Jemimah Rodrigues
Fantasy Suggestion #2: Amy Jones(WK), Dani Wyatt, Mithali Raj, Jemimah Rodrigues, Tammy Beaumont, Natalie Sciver, Deepti Sharma, Katherine Brunt, Poonam Yadav, Arundhati Reddy and Anya Shrubsole. Captain: Natalie Sciver
