Dave Turpel is yet another player who is not as well known as the other stars on the list.

The Luxembourg international plays for F91 Dudelange, a team that is currently attempting to get into the Europa league.

The forward has been incredibly impressive, scoring 37 goals in 44 games for his side so far this year.

This makes him the sixth-highest goal-scorer in 2018 so far, beating the likes of Luis Suarez and Antoine Greizmann.

#5 Robert Lewandowski (39 goals in 48 games)

Our top five starts with Polish striker Robert Lewandowski who has enjoyed immense success with Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich.

The 30-year-old bagged the Bundesliga's Golden Boot last season after netting 29 goals in just 30 appearances in the league.

Despite being out of form earlier this season, the Bayern forward still manages to keep the club afloat, recently scoring in his side's 3-2 Der Klassiker defeat to rivals Borussia Dortmund.

The former Dortmund striker looks to be back on track, insisting that Bayern must try everything to close their gap over their rivals.

In spite of the polarizing start, the Polish star has 39 goals in 48 games under his belt so far this year.
