Arsenal did put up a fight but Bayern were too strong for them.

When you are considered a top team in one of the best leagues in the world and you lose 5-1 to an opponent and you again meet them after two weeks. What could you possibly do? Give a response, save some pride or try to make a comeback. But Arsenal being Arsenal did exactly the opposite they again lost 5-1 to the same opponent.

After losing 5-1 to Bayern at the Allianz Arena they again lost to Bayern at the Emirates 5-1. The Gunners started brightly as Theo Walcott opened the scoring in the 20th minute. and a little hope of an unlikely come back popped up. But they were brought down to earth by 53rd minute Lewandoski penalty, one from Costa and Robben and a late brace from Vidal.

Though we could cut Arsenal some slack as they were down to 10 men as Laurent Koscielny was sent off. The 5-1 defeat was the biggest Arsenal have suffered at the Emirates. Though Arsenal did fight in that match, but the Bavarian giants were always in control.

The fact that they lost to Bayern Munich just two weeks ago by a humiliating 5-1 scoreline, Gunners fans expected much more from their team, but they disappointed them and again lost embarrassingly by the same scoreline.
