Djimi Traore is a champions league winner and he might have scored many goals in his career but this one he would not want to remember. When a dangerous cross came into the Liverpool six-yard box, all Traore had to do was to clear it away. Instead, he made a mess of it and bundled it into his net. Credit goes to Djimi for creating something out of nothing.

This own goal by Cameroonian goalkeeper Sammy Ndjock's might be the biggest head-scratcher of all the own goals in this list. The goalkeeper tried to throw the ball to a teammate instead he hurled the ball into his net. After the goal, he might be wondering why and how it happened.
