Initially, the cameras failed to spot this incident, but video footage showed that Sinclair's back pass took a weird bend around his goalkeeper into the net. Sinclair had scored many goals for Leicester in his career, but this will surely go down as one of his best. Well, maybe if it weren't an own goal.

Though Gary Neville's backpass led to this bizarre goal, it was former Tottenham Hotspur and England goalkeeper Paul Robinson who should take the blame for this. It was a brutal blow to Robinson's career who was England's No.1 till then. But this mistake mentally devasted him, and he never seemed to recover completely from it.

#7 Chris Brass vs. Darlington (2006)

He almost broke his nose in the process, which made it a painful experience in more ways than one for Brass.

Former England goalkeeper David Seamen, who was a loyal Gunner has been on the receiving end of many iconic lobs throughout his career but none better than this one by Lee Dixon.
