Pablo Fornals is a 23-year-old attacking midfielder who currently plays for Villarreal in La Liga. He has represented Spain twice since his debut back in May 2016.

Fornals has featured in 28 matches for Villarreal so far this season, scoring once and assisting twice. Although it's unlikely that he would be a star player at Arsenal, he would certainly be an affordable option to bolster their squad depth in the midfield, especially now that Aaron Ramsey is set to join Juventus.
The Spaniard has a market value of around £27m, but the Gunners would have to pay a total of around £35m to secure his signature. After all, he is an important player in the Villarreal first team, so prying him away from the La Liga side will prove difficult without the incentive of money.
Fornals would also serve as a challenge for other players in the midfield to keep hold of their places; right now, it's too easy for them as they know they'll be played each week whether they perform or not.
