McGinn has previously been seen as the heir to Scott Brown, and scored against Rangers back in February. The 23-year-old was originally priced out of a move, but now that Gerrard has reassurances over transfers, a move could be back on the cards. He would be an instant hit amongst the fans and would the quality which is currently lacking.
