The Swiss maestro might be the shortest player in the Premier League but he has been making the biggest of impacts. Last season he tried every bit to keep Stoke out of the relegation zone, even scored 8 goals and assisted 7. In the World Cup, he did well for his Swiss side and grabbed more eyes.

Liverpool, however, were the first to act to the situation. With a really cheap release clause and playing for a relegation-facing Stoke, it was easy negotiating for Shaqiri. Since arriving, Shaqiri has been contributing his every ounce to the team. He has no problems being second-fiddle or on the bench. When he is on the pitch, he has been scoring goals, moreover, match-winning goals.

Shaqiri adds depth to the squad and can be trusted as a starter and also a clutch substitute. Klopp has utilised him well and now Liverpool can work towards adding depth to their forward line. Only doubt over his signing was the playing time and maybe tactical misfit. Till now, none of those things has been a problem.
