The record 13-time Premier League winners achieved the coveted feat in 1998-99 when they won the Premier League, FA Cup and the UEFA Champions League.

#8 Manchester City are the only Premier League team to breach the 100-point barrier

In 2017-18, Manchester City became the first team to breach the 100-point barrier in the Premier League. The Citizens racked up 32 wins, 4 draws and just two losses to pip Manchester United by a record margin of 19 points to the title.

During the season, City became the first Premier team to win 32 games in a season. They went on to repeat the feat next year to stave off a determined challenge from Liverpool.

Manchester City became the first Premier League team to secure the domestic treble of league, FA Cup and League Cup in 2018-19.

The Citizens staved off a determined challenge from Liverpool to successfully defend their Premier League title, either side of beating Chelsea on penalties in the Carabao Cup (formerly called the League Cup) final and overwhelming Watford 6-0 in the FA Cup final.

#10 Only 2 Premier League players have won the Ballon d'Or

In 2008, Cristiano Ronaldo lifted his first (of five) Ballon d'Or awards. That made the then 23-year-old Manchester United winger the first Premier League player to win the Ballon d'Or since Michael Owen (Liverpool) won the 2001 edition of the award.

No other Premier League player has won the coveted award ever since.

Ronaldo would go on to win a further four Ballon d'Or awards (all for Real Madrid).
