Barcelona president Sandro Rosell has revealed that 2% of Barcelona fans don’t want Argentine forward Lionel Messi in their team. This staggering development came after the club conducted an internal poll among fans, The Daily Mail reports.

Rosell said: ‘In the club we do internal polling and there is two percent who do not like Messi. I would like to know these two percent.’

Messi has scored 220 goals in 248 La Liga matches and won 6 La Liga titles, 3 UEFA Champions League trophies and the Spanish Cup, UEFA Super Cup and Spanish Super Cup twice each. Messi also has 4 FIFA Ballon D’Or awards to his name and has scored five goals in Barcelona’s first two games, including a hat-trick against Valencia.

The Barca crowd are very demanding and it seems as though, for some of them, being the best player in the world, and possibly in the history of the game, just isn’t enough.
