1 Messi v Getafe (2007)
Barcelona beat Getafe 5-2 at Camp Nou in their Spanish Cup first leg match. Messi on that occasion scored one of his greatest ever goals. It was even likened to legendary Diego Maradona's effort against England in the 1986 FIFA World Cup.
Messi received the ball inside his own half from Xavi, dummied the first marker, nut-megged the other and unleashed a spirited run into Getafe's territory. He did this with two other players closing behind him and numerous hurdles ahead of him.
He then drove into the box, dribbled past two defenders, went round the goalkeeper and slotted home on his weaker right foot to send fans inside the Camp Nou into jubilation.
