Burnley has officially secured promotion to the Premier League after being crowned the new EFL Championship champions.

Vincent Kompany led the Lancashire outfit back to the top division at the first time of asking, having been relegated to the Championship in the 2021-22 season. The Clarets accumulated 101 points in 46 games, 10 more than Sheffield United, who finished second.

However, surviving in the Premier League is no easy job. The Belgian manager will need his players in top form next season. On that note, here's a list of three Burnely players who could shine in the Premier League next season.

Josh Brownhill has played a vital role in Burnley's EFL Championship triumph. The Warrington-born midfielder played 41 league games during the recently concluded season, scoring seven goals and assisting eight more.

He won the EFL Championship Fans' Player of the Month accolade in August 2022 and was also included in the EFL Championship Team of the Season 2022-2023.

Josh Brownhill featured in 78 Premier League games for the Clarets between 2019 and 2022. His experience could prove vital for Vincent Kompany's men next season.

The former Germany U-21 international impressed with his performances after joining the Clarets on loan from Borrusia Monchengladbach at the start of the 2022-2023 season.

The 23-year-old defender played 30 EFL Championship games during the recently concluded season, scoring one goal and assisting three more. As per WhoScored, he averaged 2.1 tackles, 1.2 interceptions and 2.1 interceptions per 90.

Burnley exercised their buy clause to sign Beyer permanently earlier this month. Kompany will hope the German continues his fine form in the Premier League during the 2023-2024 season.

Connor Roberts was amongst Burnley's stand-out performers during the 2022-2023 EFL Championship season. The Wales international is a versatile footballer who is capable of playing in numerous positions across midfield and defense.

He played 43 league games last season, registering four goals and six assists. His performances earned him a place in the EFL Championship Team of the Season 2022-2023. Roberts also helped Wales qualify for the FIFA World Cup last year for the first time since 1958.

The Wales international struggled during his previous Premier League campaign in 2021-2022. He will look to turn things around next season.
