United have lacked a proper right-winger for quite a while now and could be bolstered by Robben’s quality and experience. Jesse Lingard has played on the right flank for United in some matches this season, but he is not a winger and prefers to play in central midfield. Moreover, United’s relatively inexperienced attack comprising of Anthony Martial, Marcus Rashford and Romelu Lukaku could also learn a lot by playing alongside Robben.

United have made a great start under their new coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer by winning 5 consecutive matches. They have also been playing a very attractive brand of football under their new manager.
Robben could be a very valuable addition to their line-up and might help them perform even better. He might also like to play in a big club like United before hanging up his boots. Therefore, Old Trafford could very well be one of his preferred destinations.
