A trip back to one of his former clubs might be just what the German might need to revitalize his career. It was during the 3 seasons at the Los Blancos that made the German midfielder a household name in the World.

The midfielder enjoyed La Liga, breaking a 3-year old Barcelona stranglehold of the league, Supercopa de Espana and Copa del Rey success during his stay but was not a part of the team that won the Champions League the very next season.

The Los Blancos, on the other hand, are on the lookout for players possessing that genius touch after a poor start to the season that saw Julen Lopeteui being sacked after an embarrassing defeat to Barcelona.

The new man Santiago Solari seems to have problems with the Isco, the man who is now the attacking playmaker in the Real Madrid line up. The rumours of Isco wanting a move away from the 13-time Champions League winners might prompt the Los Blancos to go in search of someone like Ozil who can produce those moments of brilliance in the final third that can help the other players score those vital goals.

This Real Madrid line-up though has much more steel and defensive back up than his previous Real Madrid team with Casemiro providing the much-needed defensive backline. Ozil maybe also slotted in for the 2018 Balon d'Or winner Luka Modric who has had a rather poor start to this season.

The lure of possible Champions League winners medal and the likelihood of the Club World Cup medal might tempt the German magician to once again move to the Spanish capital in search of first team status.
