#2 Liverpool win the League title
It has been 28 years since Liverpool last held the league title. Over the years, managers like Brendan Rodgers and Rafa Benitez have come mightily close but couldn't get the Reds over the line and win the league. However, many believe that the wait is finally over .
Fans of the Reds think they have finally found an answer in Jurgen Klopp. Klopp guided his men to a successful season last year when Liverpool finished fourth in the league and narrowly missed out on a sixth Champions League title. Typical of a Jurgen Klopp team, it was its defense which let the team down.
However, Liverpool have made the most of the summer transfer window and made amends at the back. The inclusion of defensive players like Fabinho and Keita gives them more options and increases the squad depth.
However, it is the inclusion of Alisson Becker which hopefully will be the most effective. Becker is coming off an excellent World Cup performance and totally deserves being the costliest goalkeeper in the world. Xherdan Shaqiri has also been bought by Liverpool to bolster an already blistering Liverpool attack.
Things look very good for Liverpool on paper and they might just edge Manchester City to the league title by being a little more consistent.
