#3 Daniele Rugani to Chelsea
It is only natural that Chelsea has been heavily linked with a host of Serie A players since the arrival of Maurizio Sarri. The former Napoli manager has a deep understanding of the Italian top flight and knows many of its players extremely well.
While rumours of a move for Gonzalo Higuain among others in Serie A seems plausible, there is one transfer which is extremely likely to happen in the coming days. Sarri has long been an admirer of Daniele Rugani and has placed the Juventus centre-back at the top of his wish list.
The Italian international also seems keen on a move to Stamford Bridge as his agent confirmed a few days ago. The only obstacle which has prevented this transfer from happening already is the hefty €45 million price tag placed on the 23-year-old by Juventus.
However, Chelsea is extremely keen to push through a deal and their owner, Roman Abramovic is set to meet Juventus representatives in Nice, where Chelsea played out a draw against Inter Milan yesterday, to finalize a deal for Rugani.
With the player and Chelsea both wanting this transfer to happen, it seems like just a matter of days before we hear an official announcement.
