#2 Christian Eriksen

As Manchester United got rid of two midfielders, Marouane Fellaini and Ander Herrera, in the last two transfer windows, they also failed to replace them. In the process, they are short of midfielders at the moment, with Scott McTominay already out injured and Paul Pogba reportedly wanting to leave.

A player like Christian Eriksen does not need an introduction. Since Tottenham signed Eriksen in the summer of 2013, the Danish wizard has been one of their most important players. United are clearly lacking creativity in midfield, and the recruitment of Eriksen would make a huge difference to the team.

Eriksen has a good track record in the Premier League, featuring in the PFA Team of the Year 2017-18 and winning the Tottenham Hotspur Player of the Year award on two occasions (2013-14 and 2016-17). As Eriksen's contract expires at the end of this season, he could be available at a cheap rate right now, which would also make many clubs go for him. Still just 27 years of age and in his prime, Eriksen has plenty of years left in him and now would be the right time for the Red Devils to make a move for him.
