The German has won everything possible at the international level.

If there is one manager in the game who has delivered on each and every occasion, it is only Joachim Low. Having won the World Cup and the Confederations Cup already, the manager is currently at the peak of his powers.

Doubts have been raised about Low's ability, given he has managed a German national team which has always been filled with superstars. The German answered his critics in style as he went on to lift the Confederations Cup leading a "B" team with an average squad age of 25.

His style of play needs absolutely no introduction. All one needs to say is that his Germany team went onto rip the Brazilian defence apart, on their soil, in a 7-1 hammering at the 2014 World Cup.

The only negative on his resume, however, would be his inexperience in modern club football. It would be a gamble worth taking as he could emulate Antonio Conte who left his national duty to manage Chelsea and lift the Premier League in his debut season.

However, the German boss would surely be among the top names on the list to replace Mourinho, should United sack the Portuguese boss.
