Ancelotti does not have the best memories from his last job

The Spanish giants sacked Ancelotti only a year after he had won them the European La Decima. Following that, he went on to manage Bayern Munich and was sacked in Germany after the team's disastrous start to the 2017-18 season.

Despite his latest woes in management, the Italian is the only manager alongside Mourinho who is on the run to become the only manager to have won the Champions League with three different clubs.

The manager believes in a free-flowing game and expects the success to follow. Under his management, Real Madrid had ripped Atletico's rigid defence apart to win La Decima.

Ancelotti's appointment has always brought silverware to his employers in the past. He has the experience of management in England too, with Chelsea. The manager was sacked at the Stamford Bridge despite winning three trophies within 18 months.

The former AC Milan manager should also be on Chelsea's radar this summer and the Italian would be the most attainable man for the Manchester United job if required.
