One of the most anticipated video games this year, FIFA 19 will be released by the end of September, and the ratings of some of the top Premier League teams have been leaked from the demo version of the game.

David de Gea and Paul Pogba are the highest-rated Manchester United players on the game with ratings of 91 and 88 respectively. Players like Ander Herrera, Eric Bailly, and Alexis Sanchez have seen a two-point drop in their ratings because of an indifferent 2017/18 season.

Romelu Lukaku has received a one-point increase while Marcus Rashford’s rating increased from 79 to 81. New Signing Fred has received a rating of 82, which is a two-point increase from his 2018 rating.

Antony Martial has received a one-point increase while the ratings of Juan Mata and Luke Shaw have been reduced by a point.

On that note, let’s take a look at the 3 Manchester United first team stars with the highest rating increase on FIFA 19.

#3 Nemanja Matic

FIFA 18 Rating: 83, FIFA 19 Rating: 86

The Serbian international was one of the most impressive Manchester United players last season. Snatched by United from Chelsea during the summer of 2017, Matic showed why he was so highly rated by Jose Mourinho.

Nemanja Matic was phenomenal for the Red Devils in the middle of the park and produced some scintillating displays. The 30-year-old has made 36 Premier League appearances for the Red Devils last season.

With almost two tackles per game, Matic dominated the midfield in most of the games. His work rate and ability to read the game were simply outstanding throughout the season. He allowed United to dominate possession and dictate play.

After a successful season, at least in terms of his individual efforts, Nemanja Matic’s rating increased by three points in the new version of the game.

#2 Jesse Lingard

FIFA 18 Rating: 78, FIFA 19 Rating: 82

Without any doubt, Jesse Lingard was one of the best Manchester United attacking players last season. While Marcus Rashford and Antony Martial struggled for consistency, Jesse Lingard was hugely effective for Jose Mourinho. With eight goals and five assist in his 20 Premier League starts, the 25-year-old produced some eye-catching performances last season.

He troubled the opponents with his pace and exuberance. He was a much-improved player and his overall influence on the game has increased a great deal. Though he could not lead United to any silverware, he was brilliant as a player.

The Englishman has received a four-point rating increase in the latest version of the game.

#1 Ashley Young

FIFA 18 Rating: 75, FIFA 19 Rating: 80

A hugely surprising candidate takes the no.1 spot on our list. Ashley Young has made 28 Premier League starts for Manchester United last season, his most in a single Premier League season for Manchester United. He was brilliant throughout the 2017/18 campaign and kept Luke Shaw out of the team for the most part of last season.

With two goals and four assists, he produced quite a few solid displays at the back and was one of the best left-backs in the Premier League last season. The 33-year-old has turned around his Manchester United career last and has received a five-point rating increase in the latest version of the game, from 75 to 80.
