#2 Fewest goals conceded at home in a season

United lost the title to Blackburn on the final day of the season.

The 1994/95 season was an year to forget for the Red Devils. Manchester United lost the Premier League title on the last day when, despite Blackburn Rovers losing to Liverpool, United could only manage a draw away to West Ham.

The team boasted the best defensive record in the league - conceding 28 goals, of which only 4 were netted by the visiting teams at Old Trafford. No matter how much of a defensive genius a manager is in modern football, one cannot simply replicate such an astounding defensive record at home.

Last season, Chelsea, with such a quality defense conceded 17 at the Bridge. Manchester City, the run-away leaders this season, have the best defensive record in the league so far and have yet conceded 10 goals at their home, with eight matches left.

It would be safe to say that this record would take some serious "bus parking" to be replicated in the future.
