The Turkish winger has had a great start to the season and his three goals and 5 assists in only 14 matches have not gone unnoticed. The winger has been catching the attention of the bigger clubs like Tottenham, Arsenal, and Manchester City.
Arsenal has many attack-minded players but none are authentic wingers. Cengiz would give the option of crossing and also providing through balls to the number 9. Given that Arsenal have spent a lot on attacking midfielders of late, it would make sense that Unai Emery addresses the winger problem the team is facing ever since Freddie Ljungberg and Robert Pires left the club.
Cengiz has a contract running till 2022 and will be little more costly than Sarr, but pretty less than what Arsenal might have to shell out for Malcom. £20m seems to be enough for the Gunners to sign the Turkish international.
