Cristiano Ronaldo has undoubtedly been Real Madrid's best player on the pitch ever since he joined them. The Portuguese international has won them so many games and trophies but like they say, all good things must come to an end.
Madrid are in a spot of bother right now. They are keen on signing Neymar as their next big superstar but he plays in the same position as Ronaldo. The two won't be able to do well together on the pitch and thus they can have only one at the club.
The wise thing for Madrid to do right now would be to sell Ronaldo and get Neymar. They need to look at the future and not just the next 1-2 seasons. The former Manchester United star can play at this level until 2020 but beyond that, there is no guarantee that he can do the same things.
Neymar, on the other hand, is just 26 years old. That means he has at least another 5-6 years of top quality football left in him, if not more! Madrid can either use Ronaldo in the deal to get Neymar or sell him to Manchester United and use that funds to get Neymar.
