4 players who can replace Harry Kane at Tottenham

Crystal Palace v Tottenham Hotspur - Premier League
Harry Kane could be on his way to Real Madrid

Unless you have been living under a rock for the past two seasons you will surely know about Real Madrid's interest in signing Harry Kane.

Madrid boss, Zinedine Zidane, is a huge fan of the English striker and Florentino Perez is said to be considering paying whatever it takes to bring the England international to the Santiago Bernabeu.

Potentially we are talking about a deal that could well be above 100 million. While that is not a problem for the Spanish giants, replacing Kane is something that Pochetino will lose sleep over for sure. To help him out, here are 4 players who could be perfect candidates to replace Kane.

#4 Karim Benzema

Real Betis v Real Madrid - La Liga
Benzema could very well be part of the Kane deal

Florentino Perez will surely listen to any terms that Tottenham put forth in a deal to sell Kane and why not utilize it and get a world-renowned striker. The best part about this deal could be the fact that if everything works out fine, Tottenham could get a beast in the form of Benzema.

Daniel Levy is known to extract as much as possible from every transfer deal and the chances of a Benzema plus cash deal is a realistic one.

Benzema is 30 years old and although he is not a young exciting striker who could lead the line for Tottenham for a decade, he is one player who will plug the gaping hole left by Kane to perfection.

Moreover, his arrival could project Tottenham as an elite club and could trigger other elite players to also consider Spurs as a possible destination.

#3 Leon Bailey

Club Atletico de Madrid v Bayer Leverkusen - UEFA Champions League Round of 16: Second Leg
Leon Bailey setting the Bundesliga on fire

Bayer Leverkusen goal machine, Leon Bailey, has been pushing all limits to be the next big thing in the transfer market this summer. He has been in sensational form for the Bundesliga heavyweights and has scored extraordinary goals this season. Daniel Levy is the man to always look for a good future sell on value, Bailey provides him with exactly that. At 20 years he can lead the attack for years to come.

Although he is not an out and out striker, his abilities on the flanks could create more than double the chances that Spurs are creating currently. He is the mold of Ronaldo, a player starting on the flanks, but will take the role of the striker whenever the team needs him.

His arrival could cost around 50 million and that deal could very well free up more money to bring in another player or two with just the Harry Kane money. Given Daniel Levy's record, this has a very good chance of happening.

#2 Arkadiusz Milik

Hellas Verona v SSC Napoli - Serie A
Arkadiusz Milik is deadly when he's fit

There have been many rumors linking Tottenham with strikers, but one rumor was widely talked about in the media and has been constantly gaining the attention of late. According to Calciomercato, the man to replace Kane may just be Arkadiusz Milik. The report claims that Tottenham are big fans of the Polish international forward and Pochettino was desperate to sign the Napoli frontman last season, but a transfer failed to materialize.

Milik, however, is a striker similar to Kane in skill-set alone. He possesses the ability to drop deep as a number ten or lead the line on his own and, while lacking natural pace, is an excellent finisher around the box.

He is just 23 years old and has all the talent to evolve into a deadly striker. Spurs can get him on the cheap because he is not a first team starter as he lost his place in the side due to injuries. He is currently injured at the moment, but Tottenham will surely be monitoring his progress closely.

#1 Ciro Immobile

Lazio v Steaua Bucharest - UEFA Europa League
Ciro Immobile is one of the deadliest strikers in the world

Lazio superstar, Ciro Immobile, is one of the hottest properties in the world right now. He has scored 43 goals in 54 games has re-established himself as one of Italian football’s deadliest strikers, and, he is one of the main reason why Lazio are sitting third in the Serie A table. He has improved a whole lot after a disastrous spell with Dortmund. Even Chelsea were credited with an interest in him.

Immobile has done well in a team that has only two players creating chances, Sergej Milinkovic-Saic and Felipe Anderson. He will be even more deadly when he has the likes of Son, Eriksen, Alli, and Lamela all putting balls in the box for him to score. He could be an invaluable addition to the squad and one who can replace Kane.

Lazio is supposedly willing to accept offers of around £53million, despite snubbing £62m from an unnamed Chinese Super League side in the summer.
