Real Madrid CF v Club Atletico de Madrid - UEFA Champions League Quarter Final: Second Leg
Javier Hernandez

Javier Hernandez signed for Manchester United in the summer of 2010 and became an instant hit with the Old Trafford faithful. He had a stunning debut season, netting 13 times in total, even playing all 90 minutes of the UEFA Champions League final against Barcelona.

While he was expected to become an integral part of the side considering his early success, he never truly cemented his spot in the subsequent seasons.

Lack of game time forced him to consider a move away from England and he was sent on loan to Real Madrid in the 2014/15 season, where he scored 7 goals.

With Real Madrid opting not to sign the Mexican striker permanently, Hernandez was instead picked up by Bayer Leverkusen where he plied his trade for two seasons before returning to England to turn out for West Ham.
