3 Premier League Managers who could be sacked this season

West Bromwich Albion v Chelsea - Premier League

2. David Wagner (Huddersfield Town)

Stoke City v Huddersfield Town - Carabao Cup Second Round
Huddersfield have not had the start they expected

David Wagner, a good friend of Liverpool Coach Jurgen Klopp, brought Huddersfield to the Premier League by putting in a great effort. Under the tutelage of the German manager, Aaron Moy rose to be a star at the club as he steeply improved his midfield creativity and his attacking ability.

Last season, the Terriers survived in the English top flight, just four points above the relegation zone. But what about this season?

Out of the four matches played, Huddersfield has not won a single clash, having drawn twice and tasted defeat twice as well. Their defense has been a horror show as they have conceded 10 goals already.

Surely, it is going to be a tough job for Wagner to survive as coach given his team's abysmal form.

1. Jose Mourinho (Manchester United)

Northampton Town v Manchester United - EFL Cup Third Round
Mourinho has been rumoured to be sacked for quite some time

After starting the season poorly, the future of Manchester United Coach Jose Mourinho is now in major doubt.

Everyone suspects the root of the problem at United to be the failed attempts of the multi-trophy winning manager to attract big names to Old Trafford. The Portuguese was eyeing several names such as Maguire, Alderweireld, Alex Sandro, etc. but none of these moves was realised.

Moreover, the start to the 2018-19 season has been nothing short of a nightmare for the man who captured three Premier League titles during his time at Stamford Bridge with Chelsea. But, he might still, with all his experience and astuteness, be able to avert disaster.

However, if Mourinho does not turn around the Red Devils' fortune soon, he could succumb to his 'third season syndrome' and get sacked again.
