Real Madrid need a squad overhaul desperately in the coming summer as it has become quite evident from the results they have produced recently. The Los Blancos are finding it hard to keep up with their fierce rivals FC Barcelona and Atletico Madrid. The only competition they have a chance of winning is the Uefa Champions League and even that looks like a distant reality.

In the midst of attempting to reshape the squad, the future of some players in the current squad looks uncertain. With the Spanish giants being named as a possible destination for a couple of big names in the world, some players would have to make way. This season has been a bumpy one for Madrid and some players like Marcelo, Navas, Isco, Asensio, Bale, Nacho and some more are unhappy about the limited opportunities they have been awarded.

Here is take a look at 3 players who may leave Real Madrid in the coming summer.

#3 Keylor Navas

Keylor Navas, a three-time Champions League winner, has seen himself rooted on the bench for the majority of the season after the arrival of Thibaut Courtois. The Belgian shot stopper's move already made it clear that Real Madrid were thinking about the future.

Under Julen Lopetegui both the keepers were getting more or less equal opportunities but since Santiago Solari's appointment, Navas has been handed the backup role and seen his playing time restricted to Copa Del Rey matches only. Navas has only featured in 3 La Liga games this season.

The Costa Rican has already made his annoyance well known to the management as well as the world when he went on to state “I’ve gone from winning three straight Champions League titles to not playing at all” as reported by El Chiringuito.

The 32-year-old goalkeeper has most probably played his last game for the Los Blancos as they went crashing out of the Copa Del Rey against FC Barcelona in the second leg of the semi finals. Barring an injury to Courtois, Navas will be forced to watch from the sidelines as the club attempts to win a fourth successive Champions League.

According to the Spanish outlet MARCA, Keylor Navas has already played his last game at the Santiago Bernabeu. With clubs like Juventus and Arsenal keeping tabs on him, Real Madrid may sell him in the summer.

#2 Isco

Isco is perhaps one of the most talented players right now in the current Real Madrid squad but the Spaniard's role in the club has been reduced to somewhat nil. Isco's antiques are out for the world to see but as things stand the former Malaga man won't be plying his trade at Santiago Bernabeu next season.

Isco faced stiff competition from James Rodriguez and Mateo Kovacic in a bid to cement his place in the squad but the Spanish emerged victorious as he came out on top showcasing his talent and thereafter announced himself to the world as one of the best.

Since Santiago Solari has taken over Julen Lopetegui the Spanish wizard has seen his role reduced and the reason seems to be a tiff between the player and the manager. Isco has hardly made starts under Solari and recently was dropped from the squad to face Barcelona in the Copa even after being fully fit. So far Isco has featured in 15 games in La Liga starting only five of those.

A player of his calibre should be on the pitch and not the bench and if the situation is not resolved soon, Bernabeu will lose one of the players they adore the most with clubs like Inter Manchester City and Juventus all interested. The whole saga depends on if Santiago Solari stays beyond this season.

#1 Gareth Bale

Gareth Bale was supposed to succeed and lead the attack line left vacant by the departure of Cristiano Ronaldo. However he has, so far, failed to do so. Infact it has been Karim Benzema who has risen up to the challenge. After Ronaldo's departure it was certain that Gareth Bale will have the weight of the team on his shoulders but clearly he's failed to deliver.

The Bernabeu faithfuls haven’t seen the best of him even after five years of having him at the Bernabeu. Bale’s first season was good but he never really took off from there. The Welshman started the current campaign in fine form even implying that the team is more united after Ronaldo's departure but ever since then it has been all downward.

The star of UEFA Champions League final in 2018 has now seen him go down the pecking order which sees Lucas Vazquez and Vinicius Jr above him. Bale has featured 20 times in La Liga but just has 7 goals and 2 assists to his name.

Bale does not indulge much with the team off the pitch as well with players like Courtois and Marcelo making their stance on it known.

It is now being reported by AS that Real Madrid president Florentino Pérez has finally run out of patience with Gareth Bale. "The Welsh forward is living on borrowed time", is the opinion of Perez's confidantes at the LaLiga club and only an outstanding end to the season would be enough to save the player.

It is believed that Gareth Bale will be sold in the summer to fund big money transfers for incoming Galacticos.
