Huddersfield are the league’s lowest scorers and on Saturday at the Emirates, they showed us exactly why. Despite being a picture of concentration defensively, Wagner’s men never really ruffled any of the Gunners’ feathers.

Huddersfield started with a back three which meant that the width was to be provided by their wing-backs. However, their wing backs were more inclined to stop the opposition wing-backs rather than keep them honest with their offensive forays.

Moreover, their target man, Depoitre couldn’t make the ball stick and failed to bring his teammates into play.

Arsenal have always shown a susceptibility to being caught on the break while they aren’t as strong aerially. Yet, the Terriers never posed any of those threats. Though Pritchard looked bright in patches, it never really came together for the away outfit.

The Gunners found the going tough in their attacking third and their problems could’ve been compounded had the Terriers given them something to ponder upon defensively.

However, Huddersfield eventually failed to muster anything substantial and that led to Arsenal piling on the pressure before the Terriers finally crumbled. For all their defensive stability, they spectacularly fell short at the other end.

Hence, it helped Arsenal march on to their 10th league win of the season.
