Despite such European glory, the need for new stars appeared to be evident. The team's defence was shaky, the forwards weren't consistent and points were being dropped occasionally.
The group of players at this club is phenomenal and perhaps even a set of overachievers. This team desperately needs some names who are keen to deliver on the big stage.
Some names like Neymar, Marcos Asensio, Isco, Kylian Mbappe or Eden Hazard still have a point to prove. All of the aforesaid names are either playing for them or highly attainable for the Spanish giants.
