Cristiano Ronaldo, Gareth Bale and Karim Benzema.

It would not be unfair to say that no matter what the Welsh achieves at Bernabeu, he would never be able to overshadow Cristiano Ronaldo. Though Bale was greatly loved in Madrid, he was never the leading star of the team.

Bale was signed for a sum of £85 million, more than what Los Blancos paid for Ronaldo in 2009. As reported, Real never wanted to disclose Bale's transfer fee to keep the Portuguese sensation happy.

At United, he could be up for the number #10 jersey and be a marketable asset for the club. Woodward tried his best to snatch Bale from the clutches of Real Madrid back in 2013, but he couldn't. Evidently, the Vice Chairman of Manchester United is aware of what Bale could bring to the club both on and off the field.

Gareth Bale himself would be a dressing room figure at Old Trafford. This could well and truly boost his confidence and instil a new energy in him.
