3 reasons why it would not be wise to sack Jose Mourinho midway through the season

#2. Lack of movements in the transfer market:

Fred, the newcomer

Despite evidently lacking in firepower, Manchester United was reluctant to spend on the transfer market. They failed to improve on the areas they needed to and were left with Fred as their only top signing this summer.

And if the rumour mill is anywhere close to being right, Jose Mourinho hadn't got the players he asked for. Compared to the likes of Manchester City, Liverpool, Chelsea or even Arsenal, United's squad depth is not up to the mark to fight for the title.

Manchester United clearly needed better players on the flanks to improve their wing play. But instead, they are still stuck with fewer options and no one proving their calibre to feed Lukaku. After signing Paul Pogba, he experienced similar lack of support in his exploits.

Although we have seen both these stars perform well in the world cup, they looked dazed and inconsistent with Manchester United.
