Usually Liverpool are known for blowing teams away with their attacking brand of football, but of late, have started winning dirty which highlights their improvement and discipline at the back.

After working hard for the win against Brighton, Liverpool edged out a Leicester side who were hell-bent on extracting something out of this game. The hosts responded positively after falling behind through Mane's opening.

The Foxes crowded out the central areas, dispossessed the likes of Firmino and Wijnaldum on innumerable instances, and also had few chances of their own only to be denied by Liverpool's defence.

Leicester were given a glimmer of hope after Rachid Ghezzal scored in the 63rd minute and continued to search for the equaliser through a flurry of attacks. Liverpool were pinned inside their own half in certain spells of the game, but their discipline and robustness at the back helped them see out the game and secure all three points.

This newfound aspect in Liverpool's game will be key to challenge on all fronts as they look to secure their first trophy since 2012.
