The main problem with Pogba is that the midfield superstar doesn’t like to be controlled, and does what he wants on and off the pitch. The game is generally built around him and when things do not go his way, he starts to go into that zone where he does things that don’t really make him the best team player.
Pogba was one of the key figures who started to raise their displeasure against Jose Mourinho in his third season, and his attitude and behaviour in the dressing room saw the Portuguese manager call him a ”virus”. This is one serious issue that he has, and it impacts the team as a whole when he pokes his team-mates rather strongly to perform better.
Right now Real Madrid does not need such an individual in their camp and can do well with players who can encourage the lot and not bring them down any further. With that being said, Perez may look to bring in someone with a more positive attitude towards a side that needs rebuilding.
