Despite their miserable run of form at the start of the campaign, Tottenham Hotspur have maintained a decent record at their new stadium, having won eight of their last 13 home games in all competitions.

Furthermore, they have lost only one of their previous five home games and will be looking to do whatever it takes to extend their record when they welcome the Premier League leaders on Saturday.

#3 A win over the Premier League leaders will be a much-needed confidence boost

Jose Mourinho had an immediate impact on the Tottenham team upon his arrival in November last year as the north London outfit won their first three games in all competitions with him at the managerial seat. However, it seems the Portuguese tactician’s influence is starting to dwindle as Spurs are back to their inconsistent ways, having failed to win their last three outings in all competitions.

The former United boss will now be desperate to script a memorable win against the rampaging Liverpool team, knowing that securing all three points will go a long way in boosting his side's confidence for the remainder of the season as they desperately seek a top-four finish.

Spurs will also be itching to get one over the Reds, having lost their last four games against the Merseyside giants in all competitions, including the 2019 Champions League final.
