Towering Savic can also do the spectacular

The Serbian powerhouse is a typical Mourinho player. He is tall, strong and good on the ball. Despite not scoring at the World Cup, he contributed greatly in stabilising the midfield area. Savic has been a consistent performer for Lazio in the last couple of years.

This deal would be sweet as he will play alongside country man Nemanja Matic at the base of the midfield. This will allow players like Paul Pogba cause more problems offensively, and we know what he can do.

Savic contributed 14 goals in 48 appearances for Lazio last season and can be a huge target-man during set pieces. He is composed on the ball, and a leader. Since Ferguson's retirement, the team has lacked leadership from players who can inspire the rest.

Savic's transfer to United could be the wild card that will at the very least cope with the pedigree of neighbours Manchester City. Savic would cost United around 60 million pounds if the transfer is to happen.
