The penalty that Mohamed Salah scored on Saturday was his 14th of the season in the Premier League, his 17th in all competitions. This goal sees him tied at the top of the goalscoring charts with Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang and Harry Kane.

Salah has also managed 7 assists in all competitions thus far this season, continuing to show that he is so much more than a goal scorer.

Every 135 minutes Salah has scored a goal this season, a better figure than Harry Kane and Eden Hazard. Claims at the start of the season labelling the Egyptian a one-season wonder have now been forgotten, as Salah continues to defy his critics.

He's so far managed 55 shots on target in the league this season, with 65% hitting the target. This accuracy rate is better than both his counterparts at the top of the goalscoring charts.

A recent African player of the year winner, for the second year running, Salah has his sights set on winning the golden boot for a second year and it's hard to believe he isn't capable of achieving this feat.
